Tampere Contemporary Museum
Credit: Collaborated with Architect Radu Axinte entered the international competition of Tampere Contemporary Museum Extension.
Location: Tampere, Finland
Stage: Competition in 2016
Project Brief: Renews the existing museum and extends it to the adjacent site.
Budget: £20M
What is interesting? We designed the extension as a similar shape building to the existing museum with a prominent central core that itself looks as art displace from a distance. The circulation of old and new are connected by the basement library. This makes coherence movement and allow the ground floor to be flexible in usage.
